My mom and I love coming here for their afternoon tea service. The food and presentation is always well thought out. Great food AND a history lesson! The theme changes every couple of months, so it never gets boring and we always look forward to coming back.

Cozy chocolatier and shop located in SF Chinatown. The black sesame scone was flavorful, the orange glaze was amazing. The lemon poppy seed muffin had a strong citrus taste that I absolutely love. The char siew bun and duck pancake was chef’s kiss. Last but not least, we got two teas to start with the sweet and savory food items, and a palette cleanser elixir in between. Love Jade Chocolates. Will be back for the next new tea service.

Through the looking glass high tea was pretty good but the selection was a little too much traditional Chinese fare. Felt like regular dim sum. Probably because it was tourist season so was not as adventurous as it could be. Interested in trying it another time with different menu.

I've been here for afternoon tea 5-6 times, and bought chocolates online and in person. It's an absolute gem of a place, a definite must-visit when you're in Chinatown. The themed tea services are unlike anything I've seen before, very creatively crafted and researched, and the food is truly delicious, not just attractive. Their teas are high quality, too (but I'm usually there for the treats). they've also been great about dietary accommodations. The chocolates are unique, with many with tea-inspired flavors. They also have amazing-looking drinks but I haven't tried those yet. Of the candy bars, my favorite is the genmaicha: milk chocolate with roasted brown rice and green and jasmine tea. The staff is very committed to their customers, and proud of what they have to offer. This is truly one of my favorite places in San Francisco.

Store is closed and tentatively closing. Best to call and make an appointment. Saw the booth at the Japantown Cherry Blossom Festival 4/19/25 and sign stating “Last Year in Business”…so call as they may still have product or send a DM via IG

A hidden gem afternoon tea in Chinatown with a rotating themed menu and easy weekend parking! My friend and I had a reservation for Saturday at 1pm for their Alice in Chinatown themed tea. There's $6 all day parking in St Mary's Square Garage right across the street so super easy if you're driving in. They started us off with jasmine oolong tea with roasted BBQ bao, duck pancake, cucumber tofu rolls, potato soup, a salad, and a sesame scone with orange glaze. Loved the large selection of savory bites and all were delicious. My favorites were the bao and soup and the sesame scone was one of, if not the, best scone I've had! We were served a fun palette cleanser of butterfly pea tea before they brought out the dessert round. The second round was a hot cinnamon tea with an egg tart, chocolate covered fortune cookie, a lemon poppyseed cupcake, chocolate key, chocolate pearls, and topped with an enormous cotton candy ball. The cinnamon tea had a strong taste which I liked and thought was unique though it didn't necessarily pair well with the chocolate desserts. The highlights for me were the lemon poppyseed cupcake and cotton candy. Highly recommend and will definitely be keeping an eye on their next afternoon tea themes
